Adukroman Foundation Celebrates Green Day Ghana 2024

On June 6, 2024, Adukroman Foundation participated in the “Green Ghana Day” initiative in collaboration with the District Chief Executive of Adukrom, Mr. Dan Addo, Ms. Christina Amoah, and Dr. Otchere. The Foundation made a generous donation of 100 agave plants and 30 royal palm trees, which were planted around the new Okere District Hospital and its surrounding areas.

Ms. Emelia Buzzell, Founder and Director of Adukroman Foundation, who resides in the United States, was on hand to present the plants. With excitement and a shovel in hand, she contributed personally to the beautification efforts of Adukrom’s landscape.

Ms. Buzzell, who has a deep passion for the development of Adukrom, expressed her vision for the town to thrive not only through its world-class Safari Valley Resort but also through top-tier healthcare services provided by the newly built hospital. She emphasized that the donation of royal palms and agaves, though modest, was a small but meaningful contribution to the town’s greening efforts. Ms. Buzzell hopes that the Foundation’s involvement will inspire further action in the fight against climate change, ensuring a more sustainable future for the community.
